| Every chart
needs a heroine... |
|
and there is no denying that Anastacia has firmly taken that spot! Not
only does she have the most powerful and soulful voice around, her outlook
on life and the strength she has shown during her illness with breast
cancer, makes her a worthy role model to us all.
 |
Anastacia's self-titled third album has already
the number one spot, which looks good for her next single 'Sick
& Tired' released on 2nd August.
If you want to hear this ladies voice in full
swing, then check her out on her forthcoming tour around the UK
and Ireland:
November 3rd Birmingham NEC; 5th Manchester

| Javine shows staying power ... |
|
Ironically, considering her recent number 18
chart disappointment, 'Don't Walk Away' will be Javine's next single
release.
Obviously determined to never be less than a
top ten artist again, this will be a double a-side also featuring
a cover of 'You've Got a Friend', recorded for the summer CGI smash
movie Garfield.
|
 |
The combination of a classic R&B tune and a recognisable movie soundtrack
should again appeal to single buyers; although the question should be
asked as to whether she can retain this appeal on the release of further
original material.
The double a-side 'Don't Walk Away' and 'You've Got A Friend' will be
released on 16th August.

| National support for local bands
... |
| Since Jaz discovered Nottingham
based band Headway (think a weird combination of Speedway
and Busted!) we started to wonder how many other local outfits are
not being given the credit and national coverage they rightly deserve
for their talents.
If you support a local group or artist and think
the world should know about them, then
tell us all about them (including a photo if possible) and we
will give them some Luscious Love!
